Hey Blog Readers :)
Today I had the task of scrubing off two spray tans worth of old tan and it made me think of a new blog idea :) I thought I'd let ye in on a really good- cheap/free (you probably have the ingredients hanging around the kitchen) homemade exfoliant that I swear by....
I use this all the time as a regular exfoliant maybe once a week when exfolianting the day before tanning or to help me get those last stubborn tan stains off when tan gets old and needs to go ;)
It can also be used as a face exfoliant and cleanser!
Optional:
I like to add a little ground Cinnamon-Just because it adds a lovely smell - but this is completely optional :)
You can keep the mixture in a jar or container with a lid and put it in the fridge to use again-but remember it is not good to exfoliate your skin too much...stick to maybe once a week or so.

It is the Olive Oil and Sugar Scrub!x!
This scrub will not only remove dead skin cells exfoliating your skin but it also cleanses and gives a deep pore clean-helping to remove blackheads and impurities and leaves your skin smooth and soft :)
What you need:

Extra virgin Olive Oil |

Sugar |
All you need is some Olive Oil and Sugar :)
Optional:

How to make your scrub:
It's really easy to make the scrub all you need is a mixing bowl (any bowl) and a spoon-If you were really desperate you could just mix it in the palm of your hand ;) ha,
- Add as much sugar as you think you will need to scrub your body-this is entirely up to you=The amount you would use if you brought a scrub in the shop and you were going using it, ha.
- Then add the olive oil to the sugar and mix it together-be careful not to add too much oil (if you do then just even it out with some more sugar).
- You don't want your scrub to be too dry either (mostly sugar) so you have to try to get the consistancey right-It should look like this:
If you want to add a tsp of honey or cinnamon do ;)
Shower and Scrub :)
Use as you would a normal exfoliant-wetting the skin first and massaging in circular motions. Putting the mixture onto a loofa or scruber is better than using your hands-it kind of hurts the plam of your hand other wise ;)
I use exfoliating gloves-you can get them in nearly any chemist/supermarket... even the euro shop :) and they leave the skin feeling really smooth and lovely ;)
If you find you have used too much oil and you are still oily at the end of your shower stop exfoliating and rinse with warm water.

Happy D.I.Y/Homemade Pampering ;)
Has anyone else any D.I.Y pampering tips?? ;)
Lots of Love
